Botanical Artist
I was born and have always lived in Southern California. I have been passionate about art and nature my entire life.
In 2012 I read an advertisement for a Botanical Art class at the Los Angeles Arboretum. I was fortunate to have a teacher for that class who has been my mentor and inspiration ever since. This is when I became committed to learn and develop my skills as an Artist.
I started this journey late in my life but it has been one of the most enjoyable and gratifying times of my life. I have met some amazing people who are amazing artists. I am so grateful to be learning and doing something I have always wanted to do.
The first medium I started with was colored pencil. I then moved into water color which I prefer. I also love graphite drawing.

Exhibits: Chapman University, Leatherby Library, Brody Botanical Center at The Hunting Library, The San Diego Botanic Garden and The Los Angeles Arboretum.
