Los Angeles-based artist Charles Sherman’s creative spirit has led him from drawing and painting to sculpture and jewelry design. In 2002 he began creating three-dimensional forms based on sacred geometry to express the concept of infinity, especially the Mobius or infinity ring form. He has interpreted the infinity ring form in sculptures made of ceramic, bronze, Lucite, stainless steel, and glass mosaic. Beginning in 2006 he began to translate the infinity ring form into sculpture to wear, recreating his designs in sterling silver jewelry.
“My primary artistic intention is to promote the positive in life: love, abundance, healing, harmony, and serenity. For me, creating sculptures and jewelry designs is an act of reverence for life and a way to initiate positive affirmations.”
