Donations to the Friends Book Sales may be left in the basement stairwell at the rear of the
Library (440 West Sierra Madre Library, Sierra Madre) at any time. The Book Sale committee
works in the basement on Mondays and Thursdays (8:00 – 11:00 a.m.) and can furnish tax
donation forms. Another option is to give donated books to the staff in the library and they will
provide a tax donation form. We can’t take old encyclopedias, National Geographics and other
magazines or VHS tapes. Please: we can only take books in good repair. If you wouldn’t buy it,
neither will anyone else!
We are grateful for your donations. Our sales help the Friends contribute over $55,000 to our
library used for services, programs and acquisitions. Thank you!
